Saving Directions in Google maps | iPod touch

Alas, the plight of the iPod touch owner forever tethered to wifi networks, this holds true. However it is slowly becoming less painful as savvy users find shortcuts. A one I have recentley discovered is that if you get directions in maps, and run through them once you can save the route and use it later, without an Internet connection. *********************************************
